etimes. Editor in Chief - Ashly Dyck editor.review@artsuottawa.ca Ashley Dyck

Ashly Dyck is a master's student studying English literature at the University of Ottawa. She enjoys beautiful-sounding words, sharp wit, and social justice. As editor-in-chief of the Ottawa Arts Review, Ashly lovingly keeps tabs on everyone, obsesses over punctuation, capitalization, and the modern significance of profanity. The only thing she is sure of in this life is that Ernest Hemmingway was knocked out by Morley Callaghan, a Canadian.

Associate Editor - Vanessa Ghoshvanessaassociateed.review@artsuottawa.ca

Vanessa is currently in her third year of undergraduate studies, specializing in psychology. She lives in Ottawa but likes to vacation in other people’s minds, taking notes and writing poetry. She is a great admirer of satire (aka Kurt Vonnegut), the beat generation (aka Allen Ginsberg) and freestyle poetry (aka Leonard Cohen). Vanessa is very excited to be OAR’s new Associate Editor!

Editorial Assistant - Sofia Gay admin.review@artsuottawa.caSophia

Sofia Gay has lived in Toronto and Buenos Aires, but is currently calling Stittsville home for now. She is a first year English student at the University of Ottawa, which she hopes will provide the much sought-after skills to either write a sequel to Fight Club or embark on a long and illustrious career in the field of Infomercial scriptwriting. Her time not spent on buses or writing essays is happily lent to scouring garage sales and, of course, being the Editorial Assistant.

Events Coordinator - Jenna Dufourjennaevents.review@artsuottawa.ca

Jenna is in her 2nd year, majoring in History/Theory of Art as well as a minor in Communication Studies at the University of Ottawa. As Events Coordinator, she hopes to be able to contribute to the small (but ever expanding!) arts community. Jenna loves baking, music, wine, scenic hiking, paulo coehlo and most of all... the Canadian Rockies.

Distribution Coordinator - Lidija Rozitislidija distribution.review@artsuottawa.ca

Lidija Rozitis is a third year student in International Development with a minor in Music at the University of Ottawa. She likes to spend quality time drinking pots of coffee, (sometimes even playing) at basement shows, and with her trusted green bike. She strongly recommends road trips to Nashville to find your inner poetic self – although if that’s too far, Ottawa’s back roads and abandoned train tracks are just as good. If you would like a copy of OAR in your hands or sold at your humble business abode, this is the lady to ask.

Director of Submissions - Kathy Andrewskathysubmissions.review@artsuottawa.ca

Originally from Waterloo, Ontario, Kathy is an English major with a history minor and a concentration in Français langue seconde. Now entering her second year, both in university and with OAR, Kathy is excited to be in the role of Submissions Director. She looks forward to working with contributors and helping put together some great issues in the coming year.

Production Coordinator - Jesse Wolfeproduction.review@artsuottawa.ca

The mountains spilled Jesse's guts and he lost his heart up there. He has been working ever since to fashion a new one, and, so, will accept foil balls as currency and give up his land rights for varying lengths of string. He does not, however, believe in The Good Old Days.
